Eskom: Learner Plant Operators x 4 Eskom, South Africa’s leading power utility, is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring Plant Operators to kick-start their careers. We’re looking for four dedicated individuals to join our Learner Plant Operator program at Arnot Power Station in Mpumalanga. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in power generation and build a fulfilling career in the energy sector.

- Location: Arnot Power Station, Mpumalanga, South Africa
- Salary/Stipend: A competitive stipend will be provided during the learnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand power plant operations and maintenance procedures.
- Assist experienced operators in monitoring and controlling power generation equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- National N4/N5 Certificate with Trade Subjects OR
- Grade 12 with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40% OR
- N3 with Maths 50%, Science 50%, and English 40% OR
- NCV Level 4 Maths 50%, Science 50%, and English 40%
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Candidates with National N6 Certificate with Trade Subjects / National Diploma / B Tech / B Eng / BSC Eng (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Electronics) are encouraged to apply.
