Eskom NTCSA Artisan Learnerships 2025 – Available! The National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA), a subsidiary of Eskom, is offering an exciting 3-year Artisan Training Programme. This opportunity is aimed at individuals passionate about developing their technical skills in the Electrical discipline. The programme is designed to equip candidates with both theoretical and practical knowledge, ultimately leading to a Trade Test Certificate, which is highly regarded in the technical and engineering sectors of South Africa.
Successful candidates will undergo both institutional and on-the-job training, ensuring comprehensive exposure to the industry-standard tools, techniques, and safety protocols.
Tasks
The selected Learner Artisans will be expected to:
- Participate in structured theoretical and practical learning environments.
- Adhere to all safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) guidelines and standards.
- Develop hands-on experience with electrical systems, tools, and procedures.
- Attend and complete all prescribed assessments during the training cycle.
- Collaborate with experienced mentors and artisans in the field.
- Maintain accurate records of learning achievements.
- Work across various departments to gain multidisciplinary exposure.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with:
- Mathematics: Minimum 50%
- Physical Science: Minimum 50%
- English: Minimum 40%
- N3 Engineering Certificate with:
- English: Minimum 40%
- NCV Level 4 with:
- Mathematics: Minimum 50%
- Physical Science: Minimum 50%
- English: Minimum 40%
