Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Obtain a BCom Degree (NQF Level 7) or equivalent qualification with Accounting as a major
- Pursue or hold a postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8) in Accounting

Role Responsibility
As a SAICA Graduate Trainee, you will be expected to:
- Prepare draft estimate reports
- Assist in the preparation of annual reports and financial statements
- Compile annual and multi-year operating and capital budgets for assigned units
- Account for compensation costs related to occupational injuries and diseases
- Undertake reconciliations required for the preparation of Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
- Provide sufficient provisions for all bad and doubtful debts
