Internship Opportunity: Production Intern

We are thrilled to announce a Production Intern position, designed to provide practical work experience that enhances employability. This role is perfect for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Production Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Development Plan: Completing the development plan within 24 months from the start date.
  • Training Curriculum: Meeting the specific training curriculum requirements according to the section’s position profiles within the agreed timeframe.
  • Performance Standards: Achieving the defined performance standards in the development plan and curriculum.
  • Induction and Legal Training: Completing both general and plant-specific induction, as well as legal training required by the mill and section.
  • Housekeeping: Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in the workplace at all times.
  • Safety Observations: Conducting regular Behavioral Based Safety observations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Plant Licensing Competency: Attaining plant licensing competency within the agreed timeframe of the training plan.
  • Mentorship: Establishing a positive working relationship with assigned coaches and mentors in the section.
  • Training Program Updates: Keeping the training program updated and communicating any barriers hindering progress.
  • Ethics and Shift Activities: Adhering to the Code of Ethics and participating in shift activities as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper, or S4.
  • Experience: No prior work experience required.
