FAISOmbud ICT Graduate Traineeships The Office of the Ombud for Financial Services Providers (FAIS Ombud) was established in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 37 of 2002 (the FAIS Act). Its objective is to consider and dispose of complaints in a procedurally fair, informal, economical, and expeditious manner and by reference to what is equitable in all circumstances. The FAIS Ombud offices are in the east of Pretoria in Gauteng.

In order to discharge its mandate, the FAIS Ombud seeks to appoint Graduate Trainees as part of the Graduate Training Programme. This is a structured programme specifically designed to produce a pipeline of competent trainee entrants to the labour market.

- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology /Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- South African citizen with a valid South African Identity document.
- Passion for public service and an interest/desire to work in the Financial Sector.
- Strong academic background and high levels of integrity.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment, willingness to learn and work extra hours.
- Energetic, self-driven and deadline driven.
