Duties and Responsibilities
- Learners will assist to identify Utilities reduction opportunities within the assigned Production Plant.
- Learners will interact with and run awareness sessions with staff and contractors on site to drive a culture of preventing energy and water wastage within their day-to-day duties.
- Learners will update and monitor Utilities data on the online platform.
- Learners will conduct energy and water consumption audits to monitor savings achieved, monitor respective high users’ consumption patterns, and to identify further reduction opportunities.
- Learners will log utilities outages with the supply authority and monitor restoration progress to limit the use of backup sources.

- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to provide solutions to engineering challenges.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Qualification
- National Diploma Mechanical Engineering
- Unemployed
- Clear criminal record
- Work shifts during the week.
- You will need to be able to commit to a 12 month programme.
- Age criteria 18-28 years old.
- Have not been in a YES Programme in the past
