The intern will take on the role of Junior IT Support Specialist, delivering first-line technical support to internal users, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring seamless IT operations within the organization. Tasks
As an IT Intern at Fidelity Services Group, your core responsibilities will include:
- Providing first-line technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, or face-to-face
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software technical problems
- Installing, configuring, and updating essential software applications and systems
- Maintaining and administering computer networks and IT systems
- Collaborating with IT colleagues to ensure optimal system performance
- Documenting all support activities and maintaining accurate service records
- Keeping up with the latest industry trends and best practices in IT support
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following educational and skill-based qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles
- Proficiency in problem-solving and logical analysis
- Clear, concise communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development
- Excellent time management and organizational capabilities
Experience
No prior work experience is required. However, candidates should:
