Job Description:
The successful candidates will report directly to the Manager: Cabin Service and will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of in-flight service while upholding safety and regulatory requirements. This position requires commitment, flexibility, and passion for customer engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensure continuous compliance with all applicable aviation safety policies and procedures
Execute all in-flight duties with attention to detail and focus on a positive passenger experience
Deliver service excellence while promoting the brand’s integrity and values
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight administrative tasks in line with operational compliance
Respond to emergency situations with calmness and professionalism
Ensure that all necessary safety equipment and procedures are checked and adhered to
Act as a brand ambassador for FlySafair, upholding appearance and grooming standards at all times

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
Valid and current SACAA Cabin Crew License (non-negotiable)
Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate
Dangerous Goods Certificate
Ditching Certificate
Fire Fighting Certificate
Valid South African driver’s license and access to own motor vehicle (non-negotiable)
Level 4 English language proficiency
Medically fit and able to swim unaided
Willing to work flexible hours including shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Willing to sign-on early morning or sign-off late evenings as per flight roster

Role Responsibility:
As a Flight Attendant for FlySafair, the successful applicant will be expected to:

Provide high levels of customer care throughout the flight duration
Display professionalism and empathy towards passenger needs
Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure or emergency situations
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of safety procedures and cabin protocols
Carry out cabin checks and pre-flight briefings effectively
Cooperate with the cockpit and fellow cabin crew to deliver seamless service
Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and in-flight requirements
Adhere strictly to grooming and uniform regulations at all times
