Tasks
The key responsibilities of the Administrator at FNB include:
- Providing comprehensive administration support to enable the seamless operation of business functions
- Managing departmental costs and achieving efficiency within approved budget allocations
- Maintaining strong and objective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including SMEs, project managers, and senior staff
- Resolving all customer queries efficiently and within agreed service-level timelines
- Delivering top-tier service that not only meets but exceeds customer expectations through innovative and appropriate solutions
- Monitoring and implementing changes relating to laws, regulations, and industry practices
- Ensuring full compliance with all governance and legislative audit requirements
- Setting up and maintaining efficient filing systems for the business unit
- Administering daily operational activities and maintaining process integrity
- Supplying accurate and timely management information to support decision-making
- Managing personal development initiatives to boost individual competencies and performance
- Supporting team development in line with performance, skills development, employment equity, and corporate culture
Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess:
- A Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential)
- A relevant diploma or certification in Administration or Business Support (advantageous)
- Knowledge of basic financial and administrative practices
- Sound understanding of internal governance frameworks
Experience
Ideal candidates should have:
- At least 1 to 2 years of administrative experience in a corporate or financial services environment
- Proven ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently and accurately
- Experience in stakeholder management and customer service
- Familiarity with compliance and governance processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of regulatory monitoring and policy implementation
