The primary role of an FNB Call Centre Agent is to provide outstanding customer service, either telephonically or through other media channels. The goal is to ensure that all customer queries are attended to promptly and resolved within agreed timelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Engage with existing clients through telephonic and written communication, providing accurate product information and adhering to standard protocols.
  • Cost Management: Contribute to the growth and profitability of the business by managing costs and expenses within the approved budget.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Exceed customer expectations by delivering proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions. Ensure all customer queries are resolved efficiently and within the required timelines.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain expert knowledge of specific products, pricing, application procedures, processing, and timelines. This will help drive and achieve relevant product and service targets.
  • Professional Communication: Ensure all communications with clients are professional and result in positive feedback. Keep clients informed throughout the process and meet investigation deadlines.
  • Administration: Provide efficient administrative support through careful planning, reporting, and updating of all related information. This includes complying with governance and audit requirements.
  • Service Productivity: Ensure high levels of service productivity and performance in the Call Centre. Record all client contact accurately on the approved business system and report on Call Centre activities to improve business results.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Personal Lines (Motor Vehicle/Home Contents/Portable Possessions). Please note that this does not include medical insurance or life cover.
  • Education: A minimum of a Grade 12 qualification.
  • Certifications: Completion of RE and/or FAIS qualification is required.
  • Skills: Excellent telephone and email etiquette is essential for this role.
