As a General Worker at Fraser Alexander, you will assist with various tasks related to tailings operations and site management. Your role will involve:
- Collaborating with immediate supervisors to meet operational targets.
- Performing daily inspections in your designated area of responsibility.
- Planning and managing tailings materials at both on-site and depositing areas.
- Extending and connecting pipelines as required for operations.
- Opening and closing valves in accordance with operational instructions.
- Following supervisor guidelines for specific tasks.
- Assisting with problem-solving during operational challenges and reporting any issues.
- Performing Mud Guard duties to monitor tailings dam levels and ensure the dam’s integrity.
- Ensuring good housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Strictly following safety regulations as per company policies and national safety legislation.
- Participating in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
š Qualifications and Experience Required
- Educational Requirement:
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 1 to 5 yearsā experience working in a tailings environment or related field within Fraser Alexander or similar operations.

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Effective planning and organizing skills.
