Job Description
As a General Worker, your primary role will be to assist in the daily operations of tailings management, ensuring that all processes are carried out in accordance with company standards and safety protocols. The position is hands-on, physically demanding, and highly collaborative, suited for individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a mining environment.

Key Duties Include:

  • Collaborate with team leaders or supervisors to meet daily operational targets
  • Conduct daily inspections in designated areas of responsibility

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate is mandatory

Experience:

  • Between 0 to 2 years of working experience in a similar environment, preferably in tailings or mining operations

General Requirements:

  • Understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) relevant to mining and tailings work
  • Must be medically fit to work in the mining environment
  • Willingness to undergo and pass the mine’s criminal screening and background checks
  • Ability to work overtime when required
