Requirements
PN-B1 (Entry-Level):
- Grade 12 certificate.
- A nursing diploma/degree accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Post-basic qualification in a nursing specialty (minimum of 1 year) accredited by SANC.
- At least 4 years of recognized experience as a Professional Nurse in general nursing.
- SANC annual practicing certificate.
- Verifiable experience in the nursing specialty area.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
PN-B2 (Senior-Level):
- Diploma/degree accredited by SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- Post-basic nursing qualification in a specialty (minimum of 1 year).
- A minimum of 14 years of recognized experience in nursing, including at least 10 years of experience in the nursing specialty.
- Service certificates and SANC annual practicing certificate are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in compliance with professional and legal standards.
- Manage resources effectively, including human, material, and service resources.
- Participate in nursing training and research initiatives.
- Maintain professional development and support the growth of subordinates.
- Ensure optimal and holistic healthcare services in the relevant specialty areas.
