Introduction
Graduating from college is an exciting milestone, but transitioning from academic life to the professional world can be challenging. To bridge this gap, Gert Sibande TVET College, in partnership with FASSET (Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority), is offering the NCV Business Studies Graduate Internship Programme 2025. This initiative provides graduates with hands-on workplace experience, mentorship, and the skills needed to launch a successful career in business and finance.
What is Gert Sibande TVET & FASSET: NCV Business Studies Graduate Internship?
The NCV Business Studies Graduate Internship is a 12-month structured programme designed to help graduates gain practical workplace experience while applying the knowledge they acquired during their studies. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, enhancing their skills in areas essential to business operations and administration.
This programme is aligned with South Africa’s broader youth empowerment goals, helping young professionals build confidence and increase their employability in competitive industries.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Hold an NCV qualification (NQF Level 2 – 4) in an eligible field
- Be unemployed and not currently studying, enrolled in a learnership, or participating in any training during the internship period
- Have a clean criminal record
- Be proficient in English with a strong willingness to learn and grow
- Be a graduate of Gert Sibande TVET College
Role Responsibility
Interns will:
- Gain exposure to workplace systems and processes
- Apply theoretical knowledge to practical business environments
- Support business operations across relevant departments
- Work under mentorship to strengthen technical and soft skills
- Participate in professional development initiatives

Applicants must submit:
- A recent CV
- Originally certified copies of all certificates (Matric/NCV NQF Level 2 – 4), certified within the last six months
- An originally certified copy of a valid South African ID, certified within the last six months
