About the Programme

- P1 Placement: 6 months of practical work exposure.
- P2 Placement: An additional 6 months of practical work exposure.

Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes
Participants will engage in the following activities:
- Participate in an MQA-accredited work-integrated learning programme.
- Gain hands-on training and exposure at Glencore’s Wonderkop Smelter.
- Adhere to and comply with Glencore’s Health, Safety, Environment, and Community (HSEC) systems.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Completion of the S4 theory component of their qualification at a tertiary institution, needing only practical workplace experience to graduate.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English.
- Medical fitness as per the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act.
- Understanding of HSEC systems.
