Tasks
Gold Reef City General Workers – Core Responsibilities Include:
- Park Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Sweep, mop, and clean walkways, food courts, and public restrooms
- Handle waste disposal and minor maintenance tasks
- Ensure all guest-facing areas are neat and hygienic
- Support with Attractions & Rides
- Manage ride queues and guide visitors
- Enforce safety rules at attractions
- Maintain cleanliness around rides and amusements
- Guest Services & Assistance
- Provide friendly directions to guests
- Assist with lost property and minor inquiries
- Act as the frontline contact for basic guest needs
- Event Setup & Support
- Assist in setup/teardown for concerts, shows, and festivals
- Hand out flyers and guide crowds during special events
- Adapt quickly to a range of ad-hoc duties during busy periods
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Follow strict hygiene protocols and chemical handling procedures
- Comply with public safety laws and company regulations
- Help identify and report hazards promptly
- Collaboration & Team Support
- Communicate effectively with ride operators, security, and cleaning teams
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth park operations
- Contribute to a supportive and productive team atmosphere
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following:
- Minimum of Grade 10 (Standard 8)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Good physical health and stamina to work on your feet for long hours
- A clean criminal record
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Experience
While experience in cleaning, maintenance, or hospitality is an added advantage, no prior work experience is strictly required. On-the-job training will be provided for selected candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.
Preferred Experience Includes:
- Prior work in theme parks, hotels, retail, or fast-paced environments
- Experience handling cleaning equipment and chemical products safely
- Customer service background
