Key Responsibilities
As an Events Attendant, you’ll take on a multifaceted role, ensuring smooth execution of events, promotions, and functions. Your duties will include:
- Collaborating independently or as part of a team to manage and execute events.
- Performing cleaning tasks in storerooms and event venues to maintain a pristine environment.
- Providing basic customer service to clients, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Handling administrative tasks related to event operations.
- Assisting with ad hoc duties as required.
- Adhering to legislation, health, and safety standards to maintain compliance.
- Consistently delivering high-quality service, whether working individually or in a team setting.
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Education: Matric or equivalent (NQF 4).
- Communication: Proficient in English (both written and verbal).
- Skills: Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical: Basic computer skills.
- Experience: At least one year of proven experience in event assistance (gaming experience is a bonus).
- Other Requirements:
- Own transport.
- Flexibility to work shifts.
- Eligibility for registration as a casino employee with the local Gambling & Racing Board.
