Introduction
The Unisa Enterprise, in collaboration with the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA), is calling on unemployed graduates to apply for its 2025 Graduate Internship Programme. This initiative is designed to empower 30 young South Africans with workplace readiness, ICT expertise, and entrepreneurial training. By participating in this programme, graduates will gain the critical skills needed to navigate the fast-evolving digital economy while also exploring opportunities for business creation.

What is Unisa Enterprise & MICT SETA Graduate Internship?
The Unisa Enterprise & MICT SETA Graduate Internship Programme is a developmental initiative aimed at unemployed South African graduates who have qualifications in ICT-related fields. The programme offers hands-on ICT training, entrepreneurial development, and certification to equip graduates for sustainable career growth or self-employment.

Graduates will receive practical ICT exposure, enterprise development knowledge, and a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme. On completion, participants will be awarded an Enterprise Development Programme Certificate, which serves as a valuable credential when seeking employment or starting their own ventures.

Minimum Requirements:
To qualify for the internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a South African citizen and currently unemployed
• Hold a National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related ICT field
• Reside in Gauteng Province
• Own a personal laptop
• Be available to commit to the full duration of the programme

Role Responsibility:
Selected graduates will participate in:

• Practical ICT training and workplace exposure in relevant ICT fields
• Structured entrepreneurship training designed to foster innovation and self-employment opportunities
• Completion of learning modules leading to an Enterprise Development Programme Certificate
• Active involvement in both technical and business-related projects to enhance overall employability

• Certified copy of South African ID (not older than 3 months)
• Certified copies of qualification certificates
• Comprehensive CV and motivational letter
• Affidavit from a police station confirming that the applicant is not enrolled in another SETA-funded programme
