Introduction
The South African National Parks (SANParks) is one of the most reputable conservation organisations in the country. Beyond its environmental work, SANParks also offers opportunities for young graduates to gain valuable workplace experience. For 2025, SANParks is inviting applications for the Finance Internship Placement Programme at Table Mountain National Park in Tokai, Western Cape. This initiative aims to empower unemployed graduates through practical training and professional development.
What is SANParks Internships?
SANParks Internships are structured training programmes aimed at equipping unemployed graduates with real workplace exposure and technical skills. The Finance Internship Programme 2025 is tailored for students who have completed their N6 Certificate in financial and related fields. Interns will work within the Finance Division and gain experience in financial management, supply chain, auditing, and business operations.
The internship runs until 31 March 2027, offering participants over a year of hands-on experience. While SANParks does not guarantee permanent employment at the end of the programme, this opportunity provides a strong foundation for building a career in finance or related disciplines.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the SANParks Finance Internship 2025, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens aged 18–35.
- Be unemployed and available for the full internship period.
- Hold an N6 Certificate in:
- Financial Management
- Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Internal Auditing
- Business Management
- Have completed studies at a Public TVET College or Higher Education Institution (HEI).
- Not have participated in an internship or placement programme previously.
Role Responsibility
Interns placed in the Finance Division will gain exposure to:
- Financial administration and reporting.
- Supply chain and logistics support.
- Auditing and compliance processes.
- Budget tracking and record management.
- Business operations within the Table Mountain National Park.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
