Hyundai Automotive South Africa, in collaboration with Motus Corporation, is currently recruiting two energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join the Hyundai Sales Academy. This unique opportunity is based in the bustling automotive hub of East Rand, Gauteng.
This sales trainee programme is designed for dynamic, motivated individuals who are passionate about sales and eager to carve out a future in the automotive industry. Over the course of a 3-month fixed-term training programme, trainees will benefit from hands-on experience, dedicated mentorship, and skills development sessions that pave the way for long-term success in automotive sales.
Participants will not only learn the core mechanics of car sales but also gain exposure to Hyundai’s premium customer service standards, dealership operations, and brand ethos—ultimately preparing them to integrate into Hyundai’s team of top-tier Sales Executives.
Tasks
As a Hyundai Sales Trainee, your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging customers professionally and passionately on showroom floors
- Assisting customers in understanding vehicle features, benefits, and pricing
- Learning sales techniques under the guidance of experienced sales mentors
- Supporting the dealership team with administrative and client follow-up tasks
- Participating in product and customer service training
- Attending scheduled workshops as part of the Hyundai Sales Academy curriculum
- Gaining practical experience in vehicle finance and insurance (F&I) processes
- Preparing reports and customer insights to support sales strategy
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirement:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric/Grade 12)
- Additional Advantage:
- Tertiary qualification such as a Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related fields
- Other Requirements:
- Valid South African driver’s license
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Email, CRM tools)
Experience
- Previous sales experience will be advantageous but is not mandatory
- Eagerness to join the automotive industry and grow within a professional sales environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and develop
