Job Description
As part of the N6 In-Service Training Program, interns will be placed in various departments relevant to their qualifications. This practical training is aimed at equipping them with industry-relevant skills and professional experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with daily administrative tasks and operations
- Supporting managers and senior staff in projects and tasks
- Conducting research and compiling reports
- Data capturing and maintaining accurate records
- Managing correspondence via email and phone
- Engaging in team meetings and discussions
- Assisting in HR functions such as recruitment and employee engagement (for HR Management interns)
- Supporting financial processes, invoicing, and budgeting (for Financial Management interns)
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies (for Marketing Management interns)
- Managing client relationships and assisting in customer service
This structured internship program provides practical experience while developing problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. Interns will work under the guidance of experienced professionals who will mentor and support their career growth.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the N6 In-Service Training Program should meet the following requirements:
- South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 34
- Must have completed an N6 National Certificate in one of the following fields:
- Financial Management
- Business Management
- Human Resource Management
- Marketing Management
- Management Assistant
- Fluent in English (written and verbal communication skills)
- Must be computer literate (MS Office proficiency)
- High level of professionalism and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Role Responsibility
Interns in the N6 In-Service Training Program will be responsible for:
- Performing duties as assigned within the relevant department
- Assisting with various projects and tasks to gain industry-related experience
- Shadowing experienced professionals and learning from them
- Contributing to team discussions and providing input on projects
- Learning about company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
- Handling confidential and sensitive information responsibly
