ISFAP: Bursaries for 2025 The Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP) invites applications for its bursary programme for the 2025 academic year. This initiative is designed to support students from the “missing middle” who are pursuing qualifications in high-demand occupations.

Bursary Coverage:

The bursary will cover:

  • Tuition fees
  • Accommodation and travel (if not provided)
  • Books
  • Meals
  • A stipend (living allowance)

Selection Criteria:

  • Household means test
  • Academic achievement and acceptance into an approved institution and qualification
  • National Benchmarking Test (NBT) results for some institutions
  • Matric results
  • Availability of funding

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Currently in Matric or completed Matric
  • Accepted to study at one of the partner institutions for an approved qualification in 2025
  • First-year undergraduate student in 2025
  • Family household income not exceeding R600,000 per annum
  • Financial need for funding
