Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this apprenticeship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science.
- Location: Candidates must reside in Namakwa Sands or surrounding areas.
- Employment Status: Applicants should currently be unemployed.
Additionally, candidates should have passed the following subjects at NQF Level 4:
- Mathematics or Technical Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy)
- Physical Science or Technical Science
- N3 Diesel Trade Theory and/or N3 Mechanotechnology

Job Responsibilities
As an apprentice, you will be expected to:

- Complete prescribed apprentice modules as per merSETA requirements, achieving both theoretical and practical competencies.

- Keep a logbook detailing the projects undertaken and skills learned throughout the apprenticeship.
- Ensure good housekeeping practices in the workplace.
