About the Internship
This internship is designed to provide in-depth exposure to Unilever’s advanced manufacturing operations. Interns will be part of a dynamic and collaborative engineering team, where they will contribute to projects that drive efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in the supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimize downtime
- Support ongoing engineering projects aimed at improving operational efficiency
- Use MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for technical analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance
- Adhere to safety, health, and quality standards in a factory environment
- Learn and apply best practices in modern mechanical engineering systems
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and in teams
