This two-year program is designed to equip you with practical experience, mentorship, and professional development, ultimately leading to an Engineer’s Certificate of Competency.

Minopex is seeking high-performing, dedicated, and self-motivated recent graduates in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to join our two-year Graduate Engineer-in-training Programme. This program aims to provide practical industry experience and professional development, leading to the attainment of an Engineer’s Certificate of Competency.
Job Description
- Hands-on Experience: Gain real-world experience through practical training and mentorship from seasoned engineers.
- Skill Development: Develop core engineering skills and knowledge through on-the-job learning and tackling real-world challenges.
- Professional Growth: Receive ongoing assessment and feedback to enhance your skills and track your progress.
- Engineer’s Certificate: Work towards obtaining an Engineer’s Certificate of Competency in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, fulfilling DMR requirements.
- Rotation Opportunities: Gain exposure to various Minopex operations across South Africa.
Qualifications
- Education: Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a mine or plant environment is advantageous.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office, excellent English communication skills, and South African citizenship.
