What is Momentum Group Learning and Development YES Learnership 2025-2026?
The Momentum Group Learning and Development YES Learnership is designed for candidates eager to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This initiative addresses youth unemployment and creates positive social impact by offering unemployed youth 12-month work experience opportunities through Momentum Investments in partnership with the Youth Employment Services (YES) program. Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend.

During the learnership, participants will:

• Gain hands-on experience working with the Momentum Investments Learning and Development team
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn, proactively seek feedback, and enhance performance
• Represent Momentum Investments professionally and uphold its core values
• Engage in activities to build personal and professional competencies such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking

Minimum Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or Learning Sciences
• Certificate or Diploma in Adult Education or Facilitation
• Recognized Train-the-Trainer certifications
• Courses in Educational Psychology or Curriculum Development
• Qualifications in Instructional Design or eLearning Development
• Studies in Multimedia Design or Digital Media, focused on learning
• Expertise in Learning Experience Design (LXD) or UX for Learning
• Knowledge in Game Design or Game Development for interactive learning

Personal Competencies:

• Systematically evaluate information, identify patterns, and solve problems
• Understand business fundamentals and make informed decisions
• Communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Take initiative, stay proactive, and complete tasks with motivation

Role Responsibility

• Support the Learning and Development team with day-to-day activities
• Participate in projects aimed at enhancing learning solutions
• Apply feedback to improve performance and professional skills
