Role Purpose

This 6-month Temporary Customer Services Agent opportunity is designed for dynamic self-starters committed to client satisfaction. By joining our Workplace Readiness Programme, you’ll gain on-the-job experience, ongoing support, and structured training to prepare for future employment opportunities in the healthcare and insurance industries.

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Services Agent

As a Customer Services Agent, your primary goal will be to deliver outstanding client experiences. You’ll address client queries promptly, ensuring they are resolved effectively and with accountability.


Requirements

To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Education:
    • Completed Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate.
    • Passed Mathematics with a minimum of 40% or Mathematical Literacy with a minimum of 60%.
    • Passed English and another South African language with at least 50%.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Computer literacy is advantageous.
  • Location:
    • Must reside within a 20km radius of the Meersig offices in Centurion, Gauteng.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Currently unemployed and willing to commit to the 6-month programme.
    • Upload certified copies of your matric certificate and ID (not older than three months).

Duties and Responsibilities

Internal Processes

  • Professionally engage with clients and intermediaries to address and resolve queries within the agreed service level.
  • Take ownership of complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide relevant information and documentation to clients as per policy guidelines.
  • Accurately update client information on company systems.
  • Complete administrative and reporting tasks within deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to legislative and compliance standards during service delivery.
  • Identify and report system or process inefficiencies to improve client experience.

Client Interaction

  • Investigate and resolve client queries promptly, ensuring timely feedback.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to relevant departments or stakeholders.
  • Deliver accurate information and advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reports on service performance, aligning with agreed targets and standards.
  • Contribute to improving client service processes and client satisfaction outcomes.
