Job Description:
As a Call Centre Agent at Mr Price Money, your primary goal will be to enhance customer satisfaction and increase the credit customer base. You’ll do this by ensuring all customer queries and store card applications are managed with precision, professionalism, and in alignment with relevant financial and consumer protection legislation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling customer queries and correspondence efficiently to prevent backlogs and ensure a smooth customer experience
- Telephonically verifying personal and employment details for store card applications
- Accurately updating customer details on the Debtor’s systems to maintain a reliable database
- Processing store card applications across all Mr Price divisions (applicable to outbound agents)
- Ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations

Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification
- Minimum of 1 year call centre experience, preferably in new account applications
- Experience in account application processing will be a strong advantage
- Familiarity with consumer finance and legislation (e.g., NCA, POPIA)
Role Responsibility:
Your core duties in the role will include the following:
- Addressing and resolving customer queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Contacting customers telephonically to verify the accuracy of the details provided in application forms
- Updating personal and employment details on digital systems to support account verification and approval
- Ensuring data accuracy to support compliance with legislation such as the National Credit Act and POPIA
- Contributing to the growth of Mr Price Money by processing new customer applications swiftly and accurately
