Key Responsibilities:
- Stock and Sales Forecasting: Create accurate sales forecasts that ensure optimal stock levels and drive revenue and profit for your assigned product categories.
- Trade Optimization: Continuously monitor sales performance, pinpoint areas needing improvement, and implement strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Merchandise Planning: Use data analytics, market research, and industry insights to craft product proposals that deliver a trend-savvy, value-driven homeware range.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and interpret reports to provide actionable insights for strategic merchandise planning and reviews.
- Administrative Support: Assist with essential administrative duties that enhance the efficiency of the Planning team and align with the company’s broader business goals.
Minimum Requirements:
To be eligible for the Mr Price Retail Sales Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizenship
- Matriculated
- Aged 18-33 years
- Unemployed
- No criminal record
