What is this Learnership?
Nampak Trainee Production Operator Learnership 2025 Nampak, South Africa’s largest manufacturer of beverage cans, is offering an exciting opportunity for youth to join the NQF Level 3 Occupational Certificate Production Operator Learnership. This 12-month programme combines classroom training and workplace integration to equip participants with essential skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will be trained to work across different roles, ensuring competence, flexibility, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- South African citizenship
- Passed Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum 40% each)
- A National Technical Certificate will be advantageous
- Unemployed and aged between 18–28 years
- Basic computer literacy
- Reside within a 50 km radius of Nampak Springs
- Strong technical aptitude
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Role Responsibility:
- Attend structured training sessions at Nampak
- Complete the workplace integration portion of the programme
- Maintain safety standards for yourself and colleagues
- Participate in role rotation for skills transfer and competency building
- Shadow, assist, and stand in for other roles as required
- Adhere to all plant rules, policies, and regulations
