Internship Programme
Necsa Group, through Human Capital Development (HCD), is offering a twelve (12) month funded Internship Programme to unemployed South African graduates. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a cutting-edge environment and contribute to Necsa’s important mission.
Available Internship Opportunities:
- Mechanical Engineering Internship
- Requirements: National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Duties:
- Conduct technical investigations and feasibility studies.
- Analyze job cards and monitor plant performance.
- Monitor energy usage and investigate energy-efficient sources.
- Update procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct inspections and write technical reports.
- Coordinate meetings and draw up specifications for spares.
- Assist with URS compilations.
- Electrical Engineering Internship
- Requirements: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Duties:
- Electrical testing, maintenance, and installation of equipment and networks.
- Assist with water and electricity readings.
- Implement Energy management system policy.
- Develop a database for electrical equipment and energy usage.
- Assist in Energy Performance certification preparedness.
- Valid driver’s license and computer literacy essential.
- Chemical/Process Engineering Internship
- Requirements: National Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- Duties:
- Provide operational and technical support to maintenance and production.
- Adhere to Quality Standards, SHEQ-INS, Regulatory, and Statutory requirements.
- Develop and update operational procedures.
- Assist in liquid nitrogen delivery, utility invoicing, and compressor/demin plant operation.
- Valid driver’s license and computer literacy essential.
- Analytical Chemistry Internship
- Requirements: S4 in Analytical Chemistry
- Duties:
- Complete practical training (Practical 1 and Practical 2) for graduation.
- Perform instrumental analysis on routine and non-routine samples.
- Troubleshoot minor problems on facilities/instruments.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
- Supply Chain Management Internship
- Requirements: 3-year National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Logistics Management, or Inventory Management
- Duties:
- Assess compliance of RFQs, issue and receive goods, register suppliers.
- Generate orders, update supplier information, and administer tenders.
- Manage inventory and compile quotations.
- HCD Internship
- Requirements: 3-year National Diploma/Degree in ETD or Human Resource Development
- Duties:
- Provide Education and Training support to HCD Department and NLA.
- Coordinate Necsa internship and learnership programmes.
- Coordinate training and provide administration services.
- Coordinate and administer bursaries and scholarships.
- Compile contracts, draft letters, arrange security clearance, and manage learner records.
