Job Description
The Amathuba Learnership Programme is a 12-month hybrid programme that combines classroom-based training and practical workplace experience. Successful candidates will develop a comprehensive understanding of financial products, legislation, and business ethics while actively engaging in community-driven Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects.

Ideal Candidate
Old Mutual is searching for motivated, enthusiastic, and hard-working individuals who meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen aged between 18-30 years
- Currently unemployed and not enrolled in any educational institution
- Has not previously participated in a Wealth Management NQF4 learnership
- Must have completed Grade 12 (Matric) or an NQF Level 4 equivalent
- Minimum subject requirements:
- English: 50% or above
- Official Second Language: 50% or above
- Pure Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy: 50% or above
- Must be available to join the programme in May 2025
Role Responsibilities
- Client Issue Diagnosis: Assist in gathering and analyzing customer data to diagnose issues and design appropriate solutions
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complex cases efficiently
- Community of Practice Management: Engage in knowledge-sharing initiatives within defined areas of expertise
- Product/Service Knowledge: Provide accurate product/service information to clients
- Data Collection & Analysis: Perform data entry and verification tasks
- Knowledge Management: Contribute to creating best practices, case studies, and educational content
- Personal Capability Building: Participate in training, coaching, and assessment activities to develop technical skills
- Solutions Analysis: Ensure compliance with established regulatory standards
- Operational Compliance: Adhere to industry and company policies and procedures
