Over-the-Counter Assistant at UNISA 2024 Unisa is hiring an Over-the-Counter Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Western Cape. This is a fixed-term contract position for 3 months, with the possibility of extension. - Salary/Stipend: Remuneration is commensurate with the seniority of the position
As an Over-the-Counter Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that UNISA students receive their study materials on time. You’ll be responsible for:
- Picking, packing, and shipping study parcels
- Managing uncollected study materials
- Assisting with other warehouse operations
- Maintaining accurate records of collected materials
- Adhering to Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate
- Current UNISA student at the time of application
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
