Be the Heart of Our Retail Team
As a Part-Time Sales Assistant, you’ll be part of a hardworking team offering up to 27 hours per week. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming store environment, managing cash, assisting customers, maintaining store standards, and helping us hit sales targets — all while building valuable skills and experience in retail.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Matric Certificate
- Experience in retail, sales, or customer service roles (e.g. Store Assistant, Cashier, General Worker)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Able to travel within 15km of Hennenman
- Clear criminal record
What You’ll Do at PEP
Each shift brings variety and customer-facing action. Your responsibilities will include:
- Create a safe, customer-friendly environment and manage stock losses
- Operate the cash register with accuracy and honesty
- Keep the store neat, organised, and well-stocked
- Assist customers by recommending products and sharing product knowledge
- Drive sales and meet weekly targets
- Promote current in-store deals and upcoming promotions
- Support inventory deliveries and merchandising
- Stay informed about new arrivals and product features
