Responsibilities
- Monitor & adjust gauges and instruments
- Record changes in utilities & raw materials on log sheets
- Operate a section of a process plant
- Ensure safety, health & hygiene
- Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance and product quality
- Report machinery and equipment faults
- Perform regular maintenance by Identifying and correcting minor errors in the equipment and cleaning on laser Sorting Equipment
- Program and optimize laser sorting processes
Qualifications
- Grade 12, or Equivalent Qualification
- 2-5 years production/ Maintenance experience in FMCG environment
- Experience in food processing and packaging
- Health and safety standards
- Effective communication within technical contexts

- First Line Maintenance will be advantageous
