What You’ll Be Doing

As a Sales Assistant at Old Khaki, your daily role will include a variety of engaging retail functions aimed at delivering an exceptional in-store experience while driving sales. Key responsibilities include:

• Exceeding customer expectations using customer-first selling techniques
• Meeting and exceeding individual sales targets consistently
• Adhering to all store-level stock loss prevention controls
• Maximising sales by identifying new turnover opportunities
• Maintaining impeccable housekeeping and visual merchandising standards
• Creating a fun, inspiring, and energetic environment for customers and teammates
• Processing transactions accurately using various payment methods (cash, cards, vouchers, coupons, etc.)
• Ensuring all outgoing items are properly scanned and accounted for
• Promoting and processing loyalty cards, including partner programs
• Building strong customer relationships through helpful, courteous service
• Handling customer queries, compliments, and complaints with professionalism
• Resolving all stock-related inquiries efficiently and accurately

Requirements:

Essential:

• Matric or Equivalent qualification
• Up to 6 months of retail experience

• 1 year of retail work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems
