Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
  • 0 – 6 months relevant experience
  • Applicants must not have participated in another internship or similar programme
  • Knowledge of the following:
    • Unemployment Insurance Act and Regulations
    • Public Financial Management Act (PFMA)
    • Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
    • Treasury Regulations
    • Batho Pele Principles
    • UIF policies and procedures

Role Responsibility
As a Client Service Officer, you will:

  • Provide frontline screening services to clients
  • Process Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) benefit applications
  • Register payment continuation forms
  • Conduct interviews with clients and handle queries
  • Perform administrative functions to support service delivery
