Key Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Recognized Diploma in Office Administration, Public Management, Customer Service, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
Additional Considerations
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and relevant experience may be taken into account during the selection process.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
Client Assistance and Applications
- Attend to individual and business clients, addressing their needs professionally.
- Process and capture individual applications.
- Assess documentation for completeness and validity.
Administrative and Technical Support
- Print ID cards and PSIRA certificates.
- Assist clients in completing applications on the digital platform.
- Access and interpret data from external systems, such as CIPC and SARS.
- Respond promptly to telephonic and email inquiries.
Verification and Compliance
- Verify fingerprints using the Home Affairs HANIS system.
- Interpret and take action based on findings related to criminal records during registration.
Financial and Filing Tasks
- Demonstrate a baseline understanding of finances concerning PSIRA registrations.
- Maintain proper filing systems and ensure data is correctly captured.
Additional Responsibilities
- Relieve duties as a host/hostess for queue management.
- Prepare monthly statistical reports.
- Perform general administrative tasks as required.
