RCL: Quality And Food Safety Internship 2024 At RCL Foods, we operate with a distinct vision and approach. Our mission is clear: provide more food to more people, more often. We are currently seeking a Quality And Food Safety Intern to join our Beverages Unit which falls under the Groceries and Spreads Division. Based in Pretoria West, this role reports to the Senior QA Technologist.

Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12
- In the process of completing a food technology qualification.
- Candidates must require workplace exposure to obtain their qualification in Food Technology to complete studies.
- An average of 70% is required
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Quality And Foods Safety Intern at RCL Foods, your responsibilities will encompass a range of crucial tasks, including:
- Chemistry lab sample analysis: Collect weekly samples of finished products for micro-testing and prepare them for dispatch to the service provider
- GMP inspections: Conduct GMP audits as per schedule and compile reports.
- Micro testing sample preparation: Collect microbial swabs monthly on agreed areas, as per the schedule requirements and prepare them for dispatch to the service provide.
- Micro analysis result trending: Weekly trending of microanalysis results received from the testing labs.
- Online quality checks: Ensures the quality standard of products
- Assistance during internal and external Audits, mock recalls
