The Quality In Service Trainee programme is designed to provide hands-on learning, practical exposure, and valuable industry experience in one of the world’s leading breweries. This role supports the core laboratory function, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the brewing process.
What is the SAB Quality In Service Trainee Programme?
The SAB Quality In Service Trainee Programme offers practical industry training for students pursuing a National Diploma in Biotechnology or Analytical Chemistry. It allows young professionals to gain exposure in laboratory practices, sample analysis, and quality assurance processes that support the brewery’s value chain.
Minimum Requirements
- Currently studying towards a National Diploma in Biotechnology or Analytical Chemistry (3rd Year Student)
- Strong computer literacy and ability to use software programs extensively
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Mental alertness, sound judgment, and decision-making ability
- Precision, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong numeracy skills
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe, clean working environment
- Conduct and analyse laboratory samples
- Support the value chain through quality checks and technical assistance
- Report non-conformances and deviations promptly
- Collaborate effectively in team settings to achieve departmental objectives
