The goal is to foster growth in brand equity, volume, and market share while building meaningful customer relationships and enhancing corporate reputation.


Tasks
As a Sales & Marketing Learner, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and sustaining productive customer relationships
  • Selling and representing SAB’s value propositions to tavern owners
  • Managing and building customer call cycles for effective partnerships
  • Executing pricing, promotions, merchandising, and space planning (AMPPS)
  • Ensuring 100% product availability and merchandising compliance
  • Driving weekly customer interactions and inputting accurate master data
  • Monitoring outlet performance and tracking shelf space and competitor activity
  • Ensuring SAB assets like refrigeration units and signage are well maintained
  • Executing stock rotation and managing product quality
  • Planning and prioritizing daily sales activities
  • Negotiating price visibility and promotional campaigns

Qualifications
To be eligible for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A Diploma or Degree (Sales/Marketing qualifications preferred)
  • A valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license
  • Local area knowledge (Kimberley region essential)
  • Successful completion of a driver’s assessment
  • Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Experience
While no prior experience is required, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Ability to interpret and apply market intelligence to sales strategies
