The Sales Learnership program is designed to provide participants with a strong foundation in sales through a blend of academic learning and practical, on-the-job experience. Participants will gain exposure to real-world business environments, develop industry-relevant skills, and earn a recognized qualification to boost their career prospects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hold a National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering as a recent graduate
- Experience in Contact Centre, Sales, or Sales Administration (advantageous)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic organizational and time-management skills
- Competency with digital tools, including AI-based platforms and standard office software
- Ability to work effectively in a team while managing independent tasks
- Basic understanding of sales processes or willingness to learn
- Ability to conduct online research and analyze information
- Accuracy in data entry and Excel tasks
- Priority given to employment equity candidates
Role Responsibility:
- Assist in generating leads through cold calls, scheduling meetings, and following up with clients
- Conduct online research on prospective clients, industry competitors, and market trends
- Record and maintain accurate client and sales data using Excel or CRM software
- Support administrative tasks such as preparing reports, presentations, and emails
- Contribute to planning, tracking, and reporting sales campaigns
- Utilize digital planning and AI tools for daily office operations
