General Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the SANDF internship programme:

• Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen (no dual citizenship).
• Age:
• 18-22 years old with a Grade 12 certificate or higher.
• 18-26 years old with a three-year tertiary qualification or N6 certificate.
• Education:
• Successfully completed Grade 12.
• An Admission Point Score (APS) of 24 or above, excluding Life Orientation (LO).
• Fitness: Must comply with medical fitness requirements for the appointment.
• Criminal Record: Must have no criminal record or pending cases.
• Tattoos: No visible tattoos on legs, lower arms, neck, or face.
