BoTong Civils, in strategic partnership with the African Global Skills Academy, is proud to present a transformative opportunity for young unemployed South Africans through the SANRAL Learnership Programme 2025. Funded under the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA), this initiative is designed to bridge the skills gap in the construction industry, empowering the youth of Butterworth (Mnquma Local Municipality) with nationally recognized qualifications.
The learnerships are structured to offer both theoretical knowledge and practical on-site experience, laying a solid foundation for future employment or entrepreneurial opportunities in the built environment. This is a golden opportunity for those passionate about infrastructure development and construction processes.
Learnership Programmes Offered
- National Certificate: Construction Contracting (Level 2)
- National Certificate: Building and Construction (Level 3)
- Further Education and Training Certificate: Supervision of Construction Processes (Level 4)
These accredited qualifications are aligned with CETA standards and aim to create employable, skilled individuals ready to meet the demands of South Africa’s construction industry.
Tasks
Participants will be expected to:
- Attend all scheduled classes and practical training sessions
- Participate in real-world construction projects under supervision
- Complete assessments, assignments, and logbooks as required
- Demonstrate learning outcomes in workplace-based settings
- Maintain discipline and adhere to the programme’s attendance policy
Qualifications
To be considered for the SANRAL Learnership Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following academic requirements:
- Certified Matric Certificate or Grade 11 School Report
(Certification must be dated within 3 months of application submission) - Certified ID Copy
(Must also be dated within 3 months of the application)
Experience
No prior experience is required. However, this programme is ideal for enthusiastic, dedicated individuals who are:
- Between the ages of 18 to 35 years
- Currently unemployed
- Residents of Mnquma Local Municipality (Preference will be given)
- People with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply
