Step into the Insurance Industry with Purpose
The Santam Learnership Programme is a 12-month entry-level initiative aimed at addressing the skills shortage in South Africa’s financial services sector. You’ll gain a formal NQF Level 4 qualification, prepare for your RE5 regulatory exam, and get practical workplace experience to help launch your career.
Minimum Requirements to Apply
To be considered for this opportunity, you must:
- Have a Grade 12 Certificate with:
• 50% minimum in English and one other language
• 40% in Mathematics or 60% in Mathematical Literacy - Be between the ages of 18–28
- Be a South African citizen
- Be unemployed and not studying at any institution
- Have no post-matric qualification (certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.)
- Not have completed an INSETA Learnership before
- Have less than one year of formal work experience
- (For people with disabilities): Provide a medical note confirming the nature of your disability
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
- Attend classroom-based and on-the-job training
- Complete assignments and assessments towards your qualification
- Gain practical experience in insurance operations
- Work under supervision in a supportive, growth-oriented environment
