About the Sasol Tanker Driver Learnership 2025
The learnership is divided into two components:
- Theoretical Component: Aligned to NQF Level 3, providing the foundational knowledge required to perform safely and effectively.
- Practical Component: Hands-on job experience designed to enhance workplace performance and readiness.
Learners will be assisted in obtaining a Professional Driving Permit, Dangerous Goods certification, and Code 14 driver’s license during the programme. This learnership is opening X5 positions. Applications must reference Job Req ID: 9640.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric or Grade 12 qualification
- Legitimate Code 10 Driver’s License
- Legitimate Code 14 Driver’s License (preferable)
- 0 years work experience (entry-level)
- Willingness to take responsibility for personal development, including self-awareness, reflection, and self-correction
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms
- Capability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Preference for candidates located in the Alberton area
Role Responsibilities
- Safely operate tanker vehicles to transport fuel and related products
- Apply theoretical knowledge during practical job assignments
- Participate in all workplace preparedness activities
- Complete all assessments and learning exercises as part of the programme
