To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: Applicants should possess a B degree or an equivalent 3-year tertiary qualification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant management experience is required.
  • Knowledge:
  • A solid understanding of SASSA’s Constitutional mandate, its related policies, and legislation, along with the ability to navigate its interactions with both National and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in matters related to Social Security and poverty alleviation, including a comprehensive grasp of the demographics within the District.
  • Skills:
  • Strong computer literacy skills are necessary for the role.
  • A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

  • An undergraduate qualification at NQF level 6 or NQF level 7.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
