What is SMO Holdings Security Officer Learnership?

The SMO Holdings Security Officer Learnership is a structured training programme designed to provide individuals with the necessary skills and certification to work in the security sector. The learnership combines classroom-based learning with hands-on practical training, preparing candidates to achieve a Grade C PSIRA certificate. By the end of the programme, learners will be qualified to pursue employment as professional security officers.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the SMO Holdings Security Officer Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • South African citizenship
  • Age between 18 and 30 years
  • Highest qualification (e.g., Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent)
  • Valid Grade C PSIRA certificate
  • No criminal record
  • Must reside in one of the following areas:

Role Responsibility
