Available Training Opportunities

Fields of Training:

Participants in the Agricultural Training Programme will receive extensive training in several critical areas of agriculture, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in various agricultural sectors. The training fields include:

  1. Horticulture:
  • Mastery of plant cultivation and management techniques.
  • Understanding soil preparation, planting, and care for diverse crops.
  • Insights into sustainable agricultural practices.
  1. Permaculture:
  • Principles of permaculture and their application in creating sustainable, self-sufficient agricultural ecosystems.
  • Design and implementation of permaculture systems.
  • Integration of plants, animals, people, and the environment.
  1. Poultry and Livestock Farming:
  • Knowledge of care, breeding, and management of poultry and livestock.
  • Understanding nutritional and health requirements of different animals.
  • Learning sustainable and profitable farming practices.
Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the SepFluor Agricultural Training Programme:

  • Educational Qualifications: Grade 11 and/or Grade 12.
  • Community Residency: Applicants must reside in the following communities/villages: Moloto, Pankop, Phake, Mmametlhake, Rapotokwane, Pienaarsrivier, Rust de Winter, Nokaneng, Rooikop, and De Wagensdrift.
  • Proof of Residence: Must provide proof of residence not older than three months.
