Learnership 18.2: Fitting

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Mechanical Fitting (Including Machining):
  • N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, and Fitting (Including Machining) Trade Theory.
  • OR National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Level 4 in Electrical Infrastructure Construction or Engineering and Related Design (all trades) with at least 40% in all subjects.
  • OR Grade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science, Engineering Graphics and Design, and relevant trade theory, with at least 40% in all subjects.

Learnership 18.2: Plating

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Plater/Welder:
  • N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Plating and Structural Steel Drawings, and Plater’s Trade Theory.
  • OR NCV Level 4 in Engineering-related trades with at least 40% in all subjects.
  • OR Grade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science, Engineering Graphics and Design, and relevant trade theory, with at least 40% in all subjects.

Learnership 18.2: Learner Miner

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Learner Miner:
  • Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and English.

Additional Requirements:

• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as per a risk-based medical examination at Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational Health Care Centre.
• Be recommended based on interview outcomes.
• Clear security screening results.
• Applicants with Section 28 or 26D Trade Certificates will not be considered.
• The selection process includes an interview and psychometric assessment.
• Applicants must submit a fully completed CV, certified copies of ID, qualifications, and statements of results.
